The number of tourists in May 2010, compared to May 2009, increased by 0.8%, and the number of nights spent increased by 13.8%

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in May 2010 was 55 220, and the number of nights spent by tourists was 131 361.
The number of domestic tourists in May 2010, compared to May 2009, decreased by 1.4%, and the number of foreign tourists increased by 3.0%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in May 2010, compared to May 2009, increased by 23.9%, and the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 4.0%.
The number of tourists in the period January- May 2010, compared to the same period last year, decreased by 5.4%: the number of domestic tourists decreased by 6.1%, while that of foreign tourists decreased by 4.8%.
The number of nights spent in the period January- May 2010, compared to the same period last year, increased by 5.7%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 17.1%, while those by foreign tourists decreased by 5.6%.
