According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in July 2017 was 153 435, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 584 014.
The number of tourists in July 2017, compared to July 2016, increased by 18.3%, and the number of nights spent increased by
10.9%.
The number of domestic tourists in July 2017, compared to July 2016, increased by 3.0%, while the number of foreign tourists
increased by 32.8%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in July 2017, compared to July 2016, increased by 4.4%, whereas the number of
nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 26.8%.
In the period January - July 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 14.2%: the number
of domestic tourists increased by 8.3%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 17.6%.
In the period January - July 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 11.8%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 6.6%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 17.6%.
