According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in April 2017 was 68 047, and the number of nights spent by tourists was 140 081.
The number of tourists in April 2017, compared to April 2016, increased by 18.4%, and the number of nights spent increased by 18.6%. The number of domestic tourists in April 2017, compared to April 2016, increased by 15.8%, while the number of foreign tourists increased by 19.6%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in April 2017, compared to April 2016, increased by 15.0%, and the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 21.1%.
In the period January - April 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 10.7%: the number of domestic tourists increased by 9.4%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 11.4%.
In the period January - April 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 9.8%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 3.4%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 14.6%.
