According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in March 2017 was 43 033, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 91 532.
The number of tourists in March 2017, compared to March 2016, decreased by 3.5%, and the number of nights spent decreased
by 3.2%.
The number of domestic tourists in March 2017, compared to March 2016, decreased by 4.3%, while the number of foreign
tourists decreased by 3.1%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in March 2017, compared to March 2016, decreased by 11.6%, whereas the
number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 3.2%.
In the period January - March 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 6.9%: the
number of domestic tourists increased by 6.8%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 6.9%.
In the period January - March 2017, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 5.6%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 1.8%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 11.3%.
