According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in January 2017 was 43 220, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 87 894.
The number of tourists in January 2017, compared to January 2016, increased by 13.3%, and the number of nights spent increased
by 11.7%.
The number of domestic tourists in January 2017, compared to January 2016, increased by 10.3%, while the number of foreign
tourists increased by 15.5%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in January 2017, compared to January 2016, increased by 8.1%, and the number
of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 15.2%.
In January 2017, compared to the previous month, the number of tourists increased by 2.7%: the number of domestic tourists
increased by 15.7%, while that of foreign tourists decreased by 5.1%.
In January 2017, compared to the previous month, the number of nights spent increased by 8.4%: the number of nights spent by
domestic tourists increased by 24.3%, whereas those by foreign tourists decreased by 2.8%.
