According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in September 2016 was 84 018, and the number of
nights spent by tourists was 197 122.
The number of tourists in September 2016, compared to September 2015, increased by 6.1%, and the number of nights spent
increased by 7.0%.
The number of domestic tourists in September 2016, compared to September 2015, increased by 22.7%, while the number of
foreign tourists increased by 0.9%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in September 2016, compared to September 2015, increased by 21.9%, and the
number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 1.1%.
In the period January - September 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 4.3%: the
number of domestic tourists increased by 4.8%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 4.0%.
In the period January - September 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 2.3%:
the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 3.3%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 0.8%.
