According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in July 2016 was 129 656, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 526 693.
The number of tourists in July 2016, compared to July 2015, increased by 8.3%, and the number of nights spent increased by 1.2%.
The number of domestic tourists in July 2016, compared to July 2015, increased by 5.9%, while the number of foreign tourists
increased by 10.7%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in July 2016, compared to July 2015, decreased by 0.4%, whereas the number
of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 5.5%.
In the period January-July 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 8.5%: the number
of domestic tourists increased by 8.6%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 8.5%.
In the period January-July 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 5.3%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 5.2%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 5.4%.
