According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in June 2016 was 71 813, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 171 861.
The number of tourists in June 2016, compared to June 2015, increased by 0.6%, whereas the number of nights spent decreased
by 1.7%.
The number of domestic tourists in June 2016, compared to June 2015, increased by 1.7%, while the number of foreign tourists
increased by 0.2%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in June 2016, compared to June 2015, decreased by 1.9%, and the number of
nights spent by foreign tourists decreased by 1.6%.
In the period January - June 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 8.6%: the number
of domestic tourists increased by 10.2%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 7.9%.
In the period January - June 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 8.5%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 13.8%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 5.4%.
