According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in March 2016 was 44 593, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 94 566.
The number of tourists in March 2016, compared to March 2015, increased by 23.3%, and the number of nights spent increased
by 25.8%.
The number of domestic tourists in March 2016, compared to March 2015, increased by 23.2%, while the number of foreign
tourists increased by 23.4%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in March 2016, compared to March 2015, increased by 39.2%, and the number
of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 17.3%.
In the period January-March 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 16.7%: the
number of domestic tourists increased by 18.4%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 15.8%.
In the period January-March 2016, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 21.0%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 29.5%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 15.1%.
