According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in October 2023 was 94 165, of which 28.9% were domestic tourists and the other 71.1% were foreign tourists.
The number of nights spent in October 2023 was 187 272, of which 36.7% are realised by domestic and the other 63.3% are realised by foreign tourists.
In the period January - October 2023, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 21.2%: the number of domestic tourists increased by 0.1%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 38.6%.
In the period January - October 2023, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 9.8%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 1.1%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 23.5%.
