According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in August 2023 was 216 872, of which 52.9% were domestic

tourists and the other 47.1% were foreign tourists.

The number of nights spent in August 2023 was 877 138, of which 75.2% are realised by domestic and the other 24.8% are realised by

foreign tourists.

In the period January - August 2023, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 22.0%: the number of

domestic tourists increased by 0.4%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 42.4%.

In the period January - August 2023, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 9.6%: the number

of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 1.2%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 25.5%.
