According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in May 2021 was 36 520, of which 52.0% were domestic tourists and the other 48.0% were foreign tourists.
The number of nights spent in May 2021 was 79 413, of which 48.1% are realized by domestic and the other 51.9% are realized by foreign tourists.
In the period January - May 2021, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 10.0%: the number of domestic tourists increased by 63.3%, while that of foreign tourists decreased by 21.6%.
In the period January - May 2021, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 16.6%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 44.6%, while those by foreign tourists decreased by 4.9%.
