Value of contracted and completed construction works abroad, 01-06 2014

According to the State Statistical Office data, in the period January-june 2014, the total value of contracted construction works
abroad was 6 046 991 thousand denars, which is 27.7% more compared with the same period of the previous year.
In the specified period, the construction enterprises from the Republic of Macedonia have completed construction works abroad
totaling 616 615 thousand denars, which is 41.8% more compared with the same period of the previous year.
In the reference period, there was an increase in the volume of completed construction works in Italy, the Netherlands,
Switzerland, Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while a decrease was registered in the other countries. Croatia and France
appear as new markets.
The values for the period January-june 2014/2013 are given on the basis of the parity 1 US dollar = 44.63 denars.
