According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 245 building permits were issued in May 2012, which was 6.1% more than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 2 293 633 thousand denars, which was 48.4% less than the same month of the previous year.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 179 (73.1%) are for buildings, 28 (11.4%) are for civil engineering structures, and 38 (15.5%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 245 structures, for 181 (73.9%) the investors are private persons, and for 64 (26.1%) structures the investors are business entities.
In the reference period, 504 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 43 073 m2.
