The number of issued building permits in May 2010 increased by 0.9%

According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 222 building permits were issued in May 2010, which is 0.9% more than the same month last year.

According to the issued building permits the expected total value of the objects is 1 345 747 thousand denars, which is 24.4% less than the same month last year.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 171 (77.0%) are for buildings, 22 (9.9%) are for civil engineering objects, and 29 (13.1%) are for reconstruction of objects.

Of the total of 222 objects, for 178 (80.2%) objects the investors are private persons, and for 44 (19.8%) objects the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 318 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 32 073 m².
