According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 268 building permits were issued in October 2011, which was 40.3% more than the same month of the previous year.

According to the issued building permits the expected total value of the constructions was 2 431 599 thousand denars, which was 58.1% more than the same month of the previous year.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 208 (77.6%) are for buildings, 16 (6.0%) are for civil engineering structures, and 44 (16.4%) are for reconstructions.

Of the total of 268 structures, for 205 (76.5%) the investors are private persons, and for 63 (23.5%) structures the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 507 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 46 067 m².
