According to the data from the State Statistical Offce, a total of 231 building permits were issued in May 2011, which was 4.1% more than the same month of the previous year.

According to the issued building permits the expected total value of the constructions was 4 443 976 thousand denars, which was 230.2% more than the same month of the previous year.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 180 (77.9%) are for buildings, 22 (9.5%) are for civil engineering structures, and 29 (12.6%) are for reconstructions.

Of the total of 231 structures, for 162 (70.1%) the investors are private persons, and for 69 (29.9%) structures the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 729 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful foor area of 58 600 m².
