According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 288 building permits were issued in December 2010, which is 5.0% less than the same month last year.

According to the issued building permits the expected total value of the constructions is 3 532 322 thousand denars, which is 21.1% more than the same month last year.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 232 (80.5%) are for buildings, 29 (10.1%) are for civil engineering structures, and 27 (9.4%) are for reconstructions.

Of the total of 288 structures, for 210 (72.9%) the investors are private persons, and for 78 (27.1%) structures the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 858 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 68 339 m².
