According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 286 building permits were issued in December 2019, which was 2.1% less than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 3 460 995 thousand denars, which was 59.4% less than the same month of the previous year.
The lower amount of the expected value is due to the fact that in the previous period a permit was issued for building an express motorway in the North-East Region.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 130 (45.4%) are for buildings, 56 (19.6%) are for civil engineering structures, and 100 (35.0%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 286 structures, for 151 (52.8%) the investors are private persons, and for 135 (47.2%) structures the investors are business entities.
