According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 172 building permits were issued in January 2011, which is 11.7% more than the same month of the previous year.

According to the issued building permits the expected total value of the constructions is 2 103 590 thousand denars, which is 105.0% more than the same month of the previous year.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 130 (75.6%) are for buildings, 16 (9.3%) are for civil engineering structures, and 26 (15.1%) are for reconstructions.

Of the total of 172 structures, for 128 (74.4%) the investors are private persons, and for 44 (25.6%) structures the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 265 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 27 753 m².
