According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 189 building permits were issued in January 2018, which was 48.6% less than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 2 412 194 thousand denars, which was
54.1% less than the same month of the previous year.
The lower amount of the expected value is due to the fact that in the previous period a permit was issued for building express motorway in the East Region.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 132 (69.8%) are for buildings, 20 (10.6%) are for civil engineering structures, and 37
(19.6%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 189 structures, for 140 (74.1%) the investors are private persons, and for 49 (25.9%) structures the investors are business entities.
In the reference period, 233 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 24 943 m2.
