According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 292 building permits were issued in May 2016, which was 57.0%
more than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 4 970 915 thousand denars, which
was 13.0% more than the same month of the previous year.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 163 (55.8%) are for buildings, 33 (11.3%) are for civil engineering structures, and
96 (32.9%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 292 structures, for 182 (62.3%) the investors are private persons, and for 110 (37.7%) structures the investors are
business entities.
In the reference period, 750 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 63 183 m².
