According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 275 building permits were issued in August 2024, which was 20.1% less
than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 4 851 654 thousand denars, which was
31.1% less than the same month of the previous year.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 165 (60.0%) are for buildings, 45 (16.4%) are for civil engineering structures, and 65
(23.6%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 275 structures, for 167 (60.7%) the investors are private persons, and for 108 (39.3%) structures the investors are
business entities.
In the reference period, 531 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 52 648 m2.
