According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the value of total purchase and sale of agricultural products in August 2012 was 691 067 thousand denars, which is an increase of 3.5% compared with August 2011.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 29.2%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 34.8%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Vegetables, Fodder, Alcoholic beverages, Livestock and Fish, while in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Fruit and grapes, Poultry and eggs, Milk and Dairy products, the value of total purchase and sale decreased.
