According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the value of total purchase and sale of agricultural products in January 2012 was 1 012 591 thousand denars, which is a decrease of 51.3% compared with January 2011.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 20.0%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 79.3%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Alcoholic beverages, Livestock, Dairy products and Fish, while in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Vegetables, Poultry and eggs and Milk, the value of total purchase decreased.
