According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the fourth quarter of 2019 was 7.885.739 thousand denars and compared to the same period of the previous year increased by 35.3%.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 47.1%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 10.1%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Vegetables, Fruits, Grapes, Livestock and Dairy products, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Fodder, Alcoholic beverages, Poultry and eggs, Milk and Fish.
