According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the third quarter of 2018 increased by 38.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 51.9%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 26.0%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Industrial crops, Vegetables, Fruits, Grapes, Alcoholic beverages, Livestock, Poultry and eggs and Milk while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Fodder, Dairy products and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products in all three months of the third quarter.
