According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the second quarter of 2016 increased by 17.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 3.5%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 47.4%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Vegetables, Fodder, Fruits, Alcoholic beverages, Poultry and eggs, Milk, Dairy products and Fish, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Industrial crops and Livestock.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in all three months of the quarter.
