According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2015 grew by 22.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 41.6%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 34.0%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Industrial crops, Fodder, Fruits, Livestock, Milk and Fish, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Vegetables, Alcoholic beverages, Poultry and eggs and Dairy products.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in the first two months, while in the third month there was a decrease in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
