Purchase and sale of agricultural products, first quarter of 2024

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2024 was 9

916 622 thousand denars and compared to the same period of the previous year it increased by 216.2%.

The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 495.2% and the sale of agricultural products from

own production decreased by 13.2%.

A significant increase is observed in crop production, especially for dry tobacco due to the delayed purchase in the last year. An

increase was also observed in fish and other products, as for the dairy products a decrease.
