According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the second quarter of 2023 was 3 254 746 thousand denars and compared to the same period of the previous year it is decreased by 3.4%. The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 2.1% and the sale of agricultural products from own production decreased by 4.5%. A significant decrease is observed in the diary products by 76.7%, the crop production by 22.8% (especially the cereals) and the fruit products by 38.2%. As for the rest of the products, a small increase is noticed.
