Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, August 2012

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August
2012, compared to August 2011, was 100.2
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Professional,
scientific and technical activities (12.9%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (6.5%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply (3.9%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (6.5%), Mining and quarrying (4.9%) and Accommodation and food service
activities (4.2%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2012 was 30 777 denars.
In August 2012, 2.5% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
