Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, May 2012

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in May 2012,
compared to May 2011, was 99.7.
This decrease is caused by the decrease of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Information and
communication (14.4%), Administrative and support service activities (7.0%) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (6.8%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Mining and quarrying (5.2%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (4.6%) and Manufacturing (3.1%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in May 2012 was 30 636 denars.
In May 2012, 1.7% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
