Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, February 2012

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February
2012, compared to February 2011, was 100.7.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Professional,
scientific and technical activities (12.4%), Real estate activities (8.7%) and Agriculture, forestry and fishing (6.8%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Construction (7.9%), Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (6.2%) and Transportation and storage (4.4%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2012 was 30 257 denars.
In February 2012, 2.7% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
