According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in April 2020, compared to April 2019, was 104.8.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Education (13.1%), Other service activities (7.5%) and Human health and social work activities (7.2%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee, compared to the previous month, was recorded in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (8.6%), Transportation and storage (6.8%) and Manufacturing (6.7%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in April 2020 was 38 567 denars.
