According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in September 2019, compared to September 2018, was 105.6.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Transportation and storage (10.4%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (9.1%) and Administrative and support service activities (9.0%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (5.0%), Education (3.2%) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (2.0%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in September 2019 was 37 797 denars.
