According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2019, compared to August 2018, was 104.9.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Human health and social work activities (12.7%), Transportation and storage (9.0%) and Information and communication (7.7%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Information and communication (4.6%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (3.6%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.4%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2019 was 37 322 denars.
