According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2019, compared to July 2018, was 105.5.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Human health and social work activities (12.4%), Accommodation and food service activities (9.9%) and Transportation and storage (9.4%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Real estate activities (2.1%), Human health and social work activities (2.0%) and Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (2.0%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2019 was 37 268 denars.
