According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2019, compared to February 2018, was 105.6.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Human health and social work activities (13.4%), Transportation and storage (11.3%) and Construction (9.8%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (10.6%), Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (9.9%) and Transportation and storage (6.4%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2019 was 35 901 denars.
