According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in January 2019, compared to January 2018, was 103.3.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Human health and social work activities (11.2%), Mining and quarrying (9.3%) and Information and communication (6.8%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (17.4%), Information and communication (16.5%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (11.2%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in January 2019 was 36 386 denars.
