Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, August 2018

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2018,
compared to August 2017, was 105.6
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Information and
communication (14.7%), Manufacturing (11.4%) and Agriculture, forestry and fishing (10.9%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.7%), Mining and quarrying (2.1%) and Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.0%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2018 was 35 573 denars.
