According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in June 2015, compared to June 2014, was 104.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (20.5%), Other service activities (11.9%) and Mining and quarrying (8.3%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (7.1%), Professional, scientific and technical activities (5.4%) and Real estate activities (4.7%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in June 2015 was 32 309 denars.
In June 2015, 1.9% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
