According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in March 2015, compared to March 2014, was 102.3.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (9.0%), Other service activities (7.3%) and Financial and insurance activities (6.3%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (15.1%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (6.6%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (4.9%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in March 2015 was 31 455 denars.
In March 2015, 1.1% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
