According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in November 2014, compared to November 2013, was 102.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (7.9%), Financial and insurance activities (7.9%) and Professional, scientific and technical activities (6.9%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (11.0%), Construction (4.7%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.9%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in November 2014 was 31 644 denars.
In November 2014, 1.1% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
