Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, May 2024

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in May 2024,

compared to May 2023, was 113.5.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Education (20.0%), Arts,

entertainment and recreation (19.8%) and Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (16.5%).

An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining

and quarrying (5.8%), Accommodation and food service activities (4.6%) and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (4.4%).

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in May 2024 was 62 032 denars.
