Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, April 2023

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in April 2023,

compared to April 2022, was 115.0.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Financial and insurance

activities (28.8%), Administrative and support service activities (21.9%) and Accommodation and food service activities (18.4%).

An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:

Financial and insurance activities (14.9%), Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (13.5%) and Administrative and support

service activities (11.9%).

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in April 2023 was 54 177 denars.
