Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, February 2023

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2023,

compared to February 2022, was 113.4.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Construction (21.9%),

Information and communication (18.7%) and Accommodation and food service activities (17.1%).

A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:

Transportation and storage (9.9%), Mining and quarrying (9.5%) and Real estate activities (5.1%).

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in February 2023 was 50 486 denars.
