According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2020, compared to August 2019, was 110.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (20.5%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (15.7%) and Human health and social work activities (13.4%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation (19.5%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (7.1%) and Accommodation and food service activities (4.8%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in August 2020 was 41 070 denars.
