According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage, paid per employee in July 2020, compared to July 2019, was 109.0.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Education (13.8%), Human health and social work activities (12.6%) and Information and communication (12.2%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (9.0%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (6.8%) and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (6.6%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2020 was 40 640 denars.
