Average monthly gross wage paid per employee, October 2013

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in October
2013, compared to October 2012, was 101.1.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Construction (7.4%),
Transportation and storage (6.5%) and Mining and quarrying (4.7%).
An increase in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Arts, entertainment and recreation (7.2%), Mining and quarrying (5.0%) and Construction (3.3%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in October 2013 was 31 228 denars.
In October 2013, 1.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
